Alone in the Dark

The game that started the popular survival horror genre returns better than ever! Players control Edward Carnby, the main character from the original Alone in the Dark game, on a thrilling journey through a dark and terrifying replica of New York's Central Park, where Carnby must uncover the truth behind a dark conspiracy. Inspired by the presentation style of popular action television series, Alone in the Dark will be divided into different episodes. Each episode consists of around 30-40 minutes of gameplay and draws you into a world that will captivate you and offer you a terrifying experience. Each time the player starts a saved game, the episode begins with a video summary of the previous episode so that the player can quickly dive back into the story and not have to remember where he/she has been or what he/she has done. Each episode ends with an exciting cliffhanger to keep players' nerves on edge, and when the player leaves the game, a video teaser of the next episode is played to whet the appetite for more. Alone in the Dark offers a complete, next-generation, action-packed experience in a highly detailed, free-roaming environment with a mix of real-time physics and full interaction with the environment. The game will mark a new beginning for the Alone in the Dark series. The PlayStation 3 version, titled Alone in the Dark: Inferno, was released in November 2008 and includes several improvements over the other versions
