Airwolf

Airwolf

Airwolf, an advanced supersonic helicopter with stealth capabilities and a formidable arsenal, was developed by Dr. Charles Henry Moffet (David Hemmings) - a genius with a psychopathic penchant for torturing and killing women - and built by the Company, a division of the CIA (a reference to the term "the Company," a nickname for the CIA). At the beginning of the series, Dr. Moffet and his crew steal the Airwolf during a weapons test using live ammunition. During the theft, Moffet opens fire on the Company's bunker, killing a U.S. Senator and seriously injuring Deputy Company Director Michael Coldsmith-Briggs III (codenamed "Archangel"). Moffet takes the attack helicopter to Libya, where he carries out acts of aggression such as the sinking of an American destroyer in the service of Muammar Gaddafi's military, who allows Moffet to keep the Airwolf on Libyan soil.
