Air Raiders

Air Raiders

Air Raiders is an action game that was released in 1982 by Mattel for the Atari 2600. It received mixed reviews from critics. The player has a view of a runway from the cockpit of a fighter jet. To start the launch, the player must press the fire button. When the player pulls the joystick back, the jet fighter takes to the air. A special feature of the game is the horizontal tilt that occurs when the jet fighter turns left or right to provide a realistic simulation. The aim is to shoot at enemy aircraft. The player must also be careful not to nosedive after an enemy aircraft, which would result in a crash landing. There is also a bar at the width of the screen that allows the player to keep an eye on the horizontal position. It is important to stay out of areas of heavy gunfire as this can lead to a crash landing. It is possible to get out of the dive, but it would be better if the player avoids the flak.
