Air Combat
The first game in the Ace Combat series. Combat flight simulator in which you'll play a mercenary pilot who hires his combat skills from different companies, governments, etc. to get money for weapons and upgrades. The game takes you through a series of linear missions and features a split-screen deathmatch mode for 2 players, as well as a number of extras such as hidden planes, mini-games, etc.
Story
You play as a freelance mercenary hired by the world's governments to fight terrorists. The missions become increasingly difficult, but the money you earn for each mission makes them worthwhile. You'll be able to buy additional planes and weapons during the game, and hire wingmen to make your job easier.
