Agony

This side-scrolling shoot-’em-up features six long levels, all with detailed and serene background graphics, and aims to create a less hectic atmosphere than contemporary games like Project X. As a sorcerer’s apprentice, you have been transformed into an owl to give you the best chance of destroying the many dark creatures you encounter and thus uncovering the secret of cosmic power. These dark creatures include piranhas, giant ants, and mosquitoes. You can collect additional weapons and invincibility phases. Technical details include 3 levels with multidirectional parallax scrolling, background animations, and distinct title and in-game music.
