Adidas Power Soccer makes its way to the PlayStation. You can choose from a variety of game options, e.g. season and tournament mode, single games and multiplayer. In season mode, you can play either a shortened season or a full-length official season. Both your team and your opponents come from all over Europe and other countries. If you want to reach the highest glory faster, there is the option of the cup game. As the name suggests, you have to beat a certain number of teams in tournament mode to get your prize. The game can be played in two different ways: Arcade or Simulation. If you choose arcade mode, you don't have to worry about soccer physics or penalties, while in simulation the real soccer rules apply. If you hit someone on the shin, you will probably get a penalty. Depending on the severity of the penalty, the game switches to a penalty kick mode, just like in real soccer.
