Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies
Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies is an air combat simulation game. It allows the player to participate in semi-realistic aerial combat with a range of fighter jets, including the F-22 Raptor, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-117 Nighthawk, U-2 Dragon Lady, C-130 Hercules and SR-71 Blackbird. Eighteen missions take the player from searching and destroying buildings to one-on-one and all-against-everyone combat. Along the way, it is possible to upgrade the fighter with defensive systems, deadly weapons and other accessories.
Story
The continent of Usea was hit by an asteroid that caused the death of half a million people. Neighboring Erusea took this as an opportunity to invade Usea and occupy almost all of Usea. From the east coast, Allied Forces of the Independent States (ISAF) attempt to regain ground and engage the Eruseans in aerial combat. An elite pilot, code-named Mobius 1, is sent on a series of missions to fight the Eruseans and help ISAF win the war. During these missions, Mobius 1 learns the impact of the war on the civilian population and the pilots of the opposing side.
