GATE is home to the world's brightest minds and operates a global network of secret research laboratories covering all areas of science - and much more. As a GATE employee, you will push the boundaries of human knowledge and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal beings: from gravity-defying artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security and secrecy are of paramount importance... usually. After a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace has become a cosmic battleground: Anomalous beings are on the loose, enemies from other dimensions are invading through portals, and a mysterious military sect - known as the Order - is indiscriminately targeting personnel and beings to capture artifacts and put an end to the chaos. Containment measures have failed and there is no help in sight. Stranded miles below the surface, it's up to you and your colleagues to band together, plan your escape and make this subterranean complex your new home - for now.
