A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale: Requiem is an action-adventure game similar to its predecessor. The player takes control of Amicia and must fight against soldiers of the French Inquisition as well as hordes of rats spreading the black plague. The gameplay is largely similar to that of the first game, although the combat system has been significantly expanded. The game has a progression system in which the player gains additional skills and abilities. Stealth players unlock abilities that allow them to sneak more efficiently, while those who prefer a more lethal approach unlock additional combat skills. The locations are also larger and offer players additional ways to progress.

Story

After fleeing their devastated homeland, Amicia and Hugo travel far south to new regions and vibrant cities. There they try to start a new life and control Hugo's curse. But when Hugo's powers reawaken, death and destruction return in a flood of devouring rats. The siblings are forced to flee once more, pinning their hopes on a prophesied island where the key to saving Hugo may lie.
