A Legionary's Life

In A Legionary's Life you'll take on the role of a Roman soldier during the years of the Second Punic War and beyond. Rise through the ranks and win prestigious awards or focus on getting home safely - it's up to you. This is a single-player game with RPG elements, extensive use of attribute and skill checks, a turn-based combat system with many variables (including morale, range, limited space and height), and a touch of roguelike features. This also includes permadeath. If you're not familiar with this term, it means that you'll have to start over when your character dies. But don't worry: the game is designed to be repeatable, and you'll only see a fraction of it on each run. Besides, you'll be able to spend points for your next legionnaire, depending on how well your most successful characters have done.
