9 Years of Shadows
9 Years of Shadows is an emotional Metroidvania accompanied by healing music. It tells the story of Europa, a young woman of noble birth who must end the curse that plagues her people and return color to all lands.
Story
A fateful night full of suffering and ancient magic changed the life of a small child forever and with it everything that mankind has ever known. For 9 long years, the world has been plunged into the deepest shadows, robbing every object and every living being of its color, its joy and, above all, its hope. Many brave souls have tried to penetrate the corrupting depths of Talos Castle, a long-abandoned orphanage where the curse originated. All have failed, except for one. Armed with little more than her halberd and her courage, Europe's task is clear: enter the castle, find the source of the darkness and bring color back to the lands before it's too late.
