3D Dot Game Heroes

Story

The game follows a hero who must free the kingdom of Dotnia from a dark plague caused by the forces of evil to restore peace to the land. The legend tells of an evil king, known as the Dark King Onyx, who brought tragedy and darkness to the kingdom by stealing six magic orbs. However, a hero rose up against the dark king and trapped Onyx in another orb with his legendary sword and the power of the orbs. However, the forces of evil rose again when the dark bishop Fuelle stole the orb and once again plunged the kingdom of Dotnia into chaos. The main protagonist of the game is the grandson of the brave hero who sealed the dark king, and thus has the task of saving the country. The kingdom was once a 2D pixel world, but since the king of the land felt that sprites were out of date, he ordered that the kingdom be converted to 3D. As a result, the entire world became 3D, but retained its original pixelated look.
