Xenoblade Chronicles X

Xenoblade Chronicles X is an action role-playing game and part of the Xeno series of video games, which serves as the spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii. Similar to the original, the game is an open-world role-playing game that focuses on exploration. You can travel on foot or in large humanoid robots that are about four times the size of the average playable character, called "Skells" (Dolls in the Japanese version), which the player can control. The Skells can fly, cross water, and transform into vehicles such as motorcycles or tanks. Air battles will also appear in the game.

Story

Xenoblade Chronicles X begins when humanity is warned of its impending destruction in the crossfire between two warring alien races and builds interstellar arks to escape Earth. But only a few arks escape destruction, including the White Whale Ark. Two years after launch, the White Whale is attacked and taken to Mira. During the crash landing, the Lifehold - a device containing most of the human colonists - is separated from the White Whale, and the life pods containing the colonists are scattered across Mira. The Avatar is awakened from an escape pod by Elma and taken back to New Los Angeles. While suffering from amnesia, the Avatar joins BLADE and works with Elma and Lin to recover more escape pods and search for the Lifehold. During their missions on Mira, BLADE encounters several alien races and learns that those attacking them are part of the Ganglion Coalition, an alliance of races led by the Ganglion race bent on destroying humanity.
