The invincible Wario is trapped in a magical music box and on a dangerous quest to help a mysterious character regain her lost powers! Story
One day Wario flies his plane over the woods until it runs out of gas and crashes. Unharmed, Wario then comes across a mysterious cave. In the cave, he discovers a magical music box. When he goes to take a closer look at it, he is suddenly sucked into the music box. Inside the music box, a mysterious figure explains to Wario that he is a god who once protected the world inside the music box until an evil being locked his magical powers into five music boxes. In exchange for freeing the music box, the figure promises to send Wario back to his own world and give him all the treasures he finds. With the thought of the money and the fact that he can return to his own world, Wario sets out to find the music boxes and the many treasures of this mysterious land.
