Tom and Jerry

Based on the world-famous MGM cartoon, the player controls Jerry the mouse (in 2-player mode, P2 controls Jerry's nephew Tuffy) as he explores four different worlds (movie theater, junkyard, a toy stage, and the house inside). Game controls are simple: the B button lets Jerry/Tuffy jump (tapping it lightly again when they land activates their super jumps), while the A/Y/X buttons let them throw marbles up (Y button) and down (X/Y buttons) at enemies. To earn extra lives during the game, players have two options: The rarest and sometimes most difficult way is to find a 1-up symbol; however, the easiest mode is to collect 100 small cheese balls scattered throughout the levels (Cheese Bits). Also, Jerry and Tuffy's health meter is displayed in the form of four hearts, which can be replenished by collecting larger pieces of cheese (Cheese Chunks). At the end of each world, Jerry and Tuffy face off against Tom the cat.
