The Persistence
"The Persistence" is first person stealth horror exclusively for PS4 & PSVR. The Persistence is procedurally generated. Every time you die and a new character is awakened by IRIS, the layout of the ship has changed. Each life is different, with different enemies, items, and power-ups to find. To survive, you'll have to be stealthy, and VR is perfect for that. You sneak around and hide behind cover. In VR, it's natural to just turn around or peek over cover to gain an advantage. Your friends can also help you by connecting to the game with their phone or tablet and hacking into the ship's computer. Once inside the ship's system, players can control doors, freeze or distract enemies, disable traps and find hidden items to loot for the VR player. But watch out: Sometimes the tablet player is rewarded when you die-do you trust your friends?
Story
"The action takes place in the year 2521 aboard the research vessel Persistence, which arrives 17,000 light years from Earth at the site of a collapsing star. While conducting a major experiment, a terrible incident occurs that mutates many members of the crew. As Persistence is pulled into the collapsing star's gravity, the ship's computer "IRIS" wakes the remaining members of the crew from cryogenic sleep - one by one. Can you stay alive long enough to save the Persistence?"
