The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is the last Zelda game for the GameCube. It was eagerly awaited by many members of the gaming community and was considered the fulfillment of the dreams of those who wanted a much more realistic and mature game than its predecessors. The graphics resemble the naturalistic style of Ocarina of Time, rather than the cel-shaded look of The Wind Waker. The main adventure takes place in several provinces with dungeons and temples. New in this game is the possibility for Link to transform into a wolf when he enters Twilight. As a wolf, Link can use his senses to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. He can also dig holes to find hearts and rupees. Twilight Princess has been consistently praised by critics and journalists, who have called it the best Zelda game ever.

Story

Link, a young farm boy whose duties include herding goats and watching over the children in the village of Ordon, is asked by the mayor to run an errand in the castle town. But on that day, strange things happen: the land goes dark and strange creatures from another world, the Twilight Realm, appear, turning most people into ghosts. Unlike the others, Link turns into a wolf, but is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him get free, and with the help of her magic they set out to rid the land of the shadows. Link must explore the vast land of Hyrule and uncover the mystery behind his fall into darkness.
