Story

Only the toughest fighters in the world can duel in the biggest martial arts tournament in the world. Although a mysterious creature called Verse destroyed the KOF arena, its threat was averted thanks to the valiant efforts of the victorious challengers. Much time has passed since the end of this turbulent tournament, and the next KOF begins, supported by a new sponsor. Meanwhile, Chizuru Kagura senses that something is disturbing the Seal of Orochi, also known as Gaia's Will. She joins forces with Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami to join the KOF and investigate. Amidst these myriad motives, fighters resurrected after the defeat of Verse also get involved. Once again, a storm is looming...
