Tetris Effect

Tetris Effect

Named after a real-world phenomenon where players' brains are so captivated that images of the iconic falling Tetrimino pieces linger in their imaginations, thoughts, and even dreams, Tetris Effect amplifies that magical feeling of total immersion by surrounding you with fantastic, fully three-dimensional worlds that react and evolve to your play. Music, backgrounds, sounds, special effects - everything, right down to the Tetris pieces themselves, pulses, dances, shimmers and explodes in perfect synchronization with your gameplay.

Story

Tetris Effect is Tetris as you've never seen, heard, or felt it before - an incredibly addictive, unique, and breathtakingly beautiful reinvention of one of the most popular puzzle games of all time, from the people who brought you the award-winning Rez Infinite and the legendary puzzle game Lumines. You can play it either on a standard screen - with unlocked resolution and unlimited framerate (with Vsync disabled) - or optionally in stunning 3D on Oculus Rift and HTC VIVE. As the ultimate version of Tetris Effect, the PC version is capable of playing at 4K or higher resolution and unlimited framerate (when Vsync is disabled). It also features support for ultra-wide monitors, as well as other advanced gameplay and graphics options for 2D and VR games (including customizable particle amount and size, texture filtering, and more) that are not included in the PlayStation 4 console version. Music, backgrounds, sounds, special effects - everything, right down to the Tetriminos themselves, pulses, dances, shimmers, and explodes in perfect sync with how you play, so you'll want to experience each of the game's 30+ stages and 10+ modes over and over again. Tetris Effect is a challenge for the mind and a feast for all the senses. It's the perfect excuse to play Tetris again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again..." VR Optional: You can play Tetris Effect on your PC desktop or in VR with your Oculus Rift or HTC VIVE headset and associated controllers (standard gamepads, VIVE controllers, Oculus Remote, and Touch controllers are all supported). All-new "Zone" mechanic: Players can stop time (and falling Tetriminos) by entering the "Zone" and either getting out of a sticky situation that could otherwise lead to "Game Over" or collecting additional Line Clears for bonus points." Over 30 different stages: each has its own music, sound effects, graphic style and background that evolve and change throughout the game. Enhanced PC graphics and more: unlocked resolution and unlimited framerate when Vsync is disabled, enhanced texture and particle effect options, support for super high-resolution and ultra-wide monitors, and more.
