Tekken

"Tekken" is a fighting game and the first installment of what would later become the "Tekken" series and the "Tekken" franchise. It was one of the first 3D-animated fighting games and borrowed many concepts from Sega's "Virtua Fighter." Unlike traditional fighting games, where commands must be entered as quickly and precisely as possible, “Tekken” slows down the action by emphasizing rhythm, strategy, and deception over speed.

Story

A worldwide martial arts tournament is about to reach its finals. The fighter who can defeat Heihachi Mishima in the final round of the competition will receive a large prize money. The competition is sponsored by the giant financial corporation Mishima Zaibatsu. There are eight fighters left after winning death matches around the world, and the winner of the tournament will receive the title of "King of the Iron Fist". Only one will have the chance to defeat Heihachi and take home the prize money and glory. The player can choose one of these eight fighters at the beginning, each of whom has their own personal reasons for participating in the tournament, apart from the prize money.
