Story

"Storm Boy lives with his father on the long strip of sand between the Coorong and the sea, near the mouth of the Murray River in South Australia. He rescues a baby pelican whose parents were killed by ruthless beachgoers, nurses it back to health, and names it Mr. Percival. As the pelican grows up, Storm Boy and Mr. Percival play together through blue skies and storms and form a friendship that lasts forever."
