School Days

Story

It was at the beginning of the second semester when Makoto first spotted the beautiful Kotonoha reading on the train to school. Since then, it was a pleasure to watch her read when the morning was otherwise so uneventful. It wasn't that he wanted to go out with her or even be noticed by her. Just seeing her from a distance made his days a little brighter - and it's not like he believed in that magic everyone talks about.... One day, Makoto's classmate Sekai sees Kotonoha's picture on his cell phone and discovers his secret affection for her. To Makoto's surprise, Sekai gives him her full and enthusiastic support. Her encouragement brings a breath of fresh air to his boring, uneventful life. From the moment she drags them to their first lunch together, the barriers between Makoto and Kotonoha begin to fall. Sekai, however, is increasingly distracted, as if lost in her own thoughts. On the platform at dusk, Makoto waits for Kotonoha to arrive for their first date. Sekai passes by on her way home from school. Makoto is grateful to her for bringing him and Kotonoha together, and promises to do everything he can to thank her. A moment later, Makoto stands stunned on the platform. On the train, Sekai clutches her cell phone, which contains a picture of Makoto. Kotonoha rushes to the station with a happy smile on her face. And so the story begins, as three hearts burn with three different feelings.
