Runaway: A Road Adventure
Runaway: A Road Adventure is a point-and-click adventure game developed by Péndulo Studios, S.L. in 2001. The game is in the long tradition of two-dimensional adventure games, such as the first two parts of the Broken Sword series. It enjoyed great popularity in countries like Germany and France, where the adventure genre is still popular.
Story
Brian Basco is on his way from New York to California, but wants to make a quick stop on the way to pick up a book at a bookstore. On the way, he just manages to avoid running over a fleeing girl, who then faints. Brian takes her to the hospital and finds out that her name is Gina Timmins and that she was a witness to a mob murder. He saves her from the killers, but now he has to escape too.
