It also features Lionel Messi and Fernando Torres on the cover and is the successor to PES 2009. The majority of fans see the remake as a chance to reclaim the title of best soccer simulator, which was lost to rival FIFA two years ago. The demo was released on September 17, while the game was launched on October 23, competing with the FIFA series.
