Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Spirit of Justice

Ace Attorney 6 continues the investigation and courtroom of its predecessors, in which players take on the role of defense attorneys Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes and try to defend their clients. The game continues the 3D navigation introduced in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, which allows players to explore the environment from different angles. In addition to recurring gameplay elements such as the mood matrix introduced in Dual Destinies, the game introduces Spirit Medium Vision, in which players are shown the memories of victims just before they die and must find contradictions in their five senses to find out what really happened.

Story

The story of Ace Attorney 6 once again revolves around the criminal defense lawyer Phoenix Wright and his two understudies Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes. On a visit to the island of Kurain, where lawyers are redundant because spirit mediums are able to conjure up visions of a victim's memories shortly before their death, Phoenix reunites with his longtime friend and spirit medium companion Maya Fey. As always, Phoenix and Maya try to prove that even a supposedly clear-cut method of convicting defendants has its own contradictions, while Apollo and Athena have to stay home and take care of their own cases. Trucy Wright, Phoenix's daughter, becomes Apollo's defendant after a death occurs during one of their shows.
