Story

August 17, 1977 Scattered groups of zombies invade remote Midwestern towns. Unable to use tools or weapons, the invaders are resisted until they retreat into the desert. Special elimination squads are deployed to hunt down the surviving undead. Six weeks after the search and destroy operation began, the last known zombie was shot and killed. Nowadays More than thirty years had passed when a truck driver drove into a wall of undead on a deserted road in Arizona. Before the driver's phone signal went out, he reported that some of them were carrying guns.... They're back and now they're hunting us.
