Icewind Dale

In the northernmost part of the Forgotten Realms lies an icy and untamed region known as Icewind Dale. Journey deep into the mountains of Worldthorn, a harsh and unforgiving area teeming with fearsome and merciless beasts. There you'll have to confront an ancient evil that threatens to bring unspeakable horror to the face of Faerûn.

Story

The game begins in the town of Easthaven, where the player's adventuring party is resting in a tavern. The leader of the town, Hrothgar, invites the group to investigate the town of Kuldahar, which has recently reported strange events.
