Hangman

Hangman

Hangman was one of the eleven Atari 2600 titles that were part of the second wave of games released in 1978. It is based on the old word guessing game played with pen and paper. The player has to guess which letters make up a word. Each wrong guess adds a man to the diagram who is hanged, or in this game, a monkey hanging from a pole. If you guess wrong eleven times, the game ends. The game can be played with one or two players and there are different levels of difficulty for the words. Two players can even give each other the words.
