Story

In Grounded, players are shrunk to the size of an ant and must survive in the unique micro-world of a suburban backyard. Players must collect, craft, and build bases with everyday objects found in the backyard, search for life-saving resources, and coexist with giant, peaceful insects while fighting to survive massive enemy inhabitants. Grounded offers a blend of environmental and narrative storytelling. In a multi-faceted, hand-crafted sandbox structure, players can create their own experience from scratch. Tasks that seem easily solvable at human scale become challenging in this dangerous backyard landscape. This familiar yet fantastical world can be explored in single-player mode or four-player cooperative multiplayer, where players work together to complete missions or explore the richly detailed world.
