God of War: Ghost of Sparta

"God of War: Ghost of Sparta is Kratos' second foray into the world of portable gaming and is a spin-off set between the events of God of War and God of War II. Although Kratos has risen to become the God of War, he is still haunted by nightmarish visions. One of these visions forces him to embark on a new journey when he sees his mother Callisto being held captive in Atlantis under the rule of the sea god Poseidon. Against Athena's advice to ignore the vision, Kratos sets out to discover his past and rescue his long-lost brother Deimos from the clutches of the god of death, Thanatos. The second installment for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) retains the gameplay style of its predecessor and introduces a handful of new game mechanics. Kratos uses his trusty Blades of Athena in this adventure, which are now equipped with a new magic called Thera's Bane that boosts the power of his attacks. The game also introduces several new magic items and a new secondary weapon. In addition to the immersive story mode, Ghost of Sparta features the "Temple of Zeus", a place where players can spend orbs earned in the battle arena to receive various artworks and other bonuses."
