Freestyle MetalX

Freestyle MetalX

Freestyle MetalX, the "first freestyle motocross video game", offers eight environments full of objects like swimming pools and skyscrapers to let off steam. Since there are no restrictions on players, they can break windows, plow through parks and do things that would otherwise be illegal. In addition to driving through the real world, players can participate in side events like bus jumps, wheelies, and jumping through fire tunnels to earn some fame and money for their character. You can then use the money to buy new equipment like bikes, clothes, accessories and more. You can play as or against nine professional riders, including legends like Kris "The Rock" Rourke and Ronnie "Kung Fu" Faisst. Seven general drivers are also selectable, making the total number of characters 16. Players must guide these characters through various skill challenges to unlock the remaining tracks. Once unlocked, the eight levels connect seamlessly to form a sprawling environment. In each region there are special events called Big Air, Freestyle, Hill Climb and Race, where the objective is to perform as many stunts as possible in the air to outdo the competition. Freestyle MetalX also features a number of sub-games that add variety to the racing action. Players drive off a cliff to see how many tricks they can perform during their rapid descent, become a human dart as they take on a giant dartboard, and even take part in a game of motocross pinball. Those who get tired of the existing tracks can create their own arena using the built-in level editor. No matter which mode is chosen, players can listen to hard-hitting music from bands like Megadeath, Mötley Crüe, Motörhead and Twisted Sister.
