Dungeons & Dragons Online
DDO is set in the city of Stormreach on the fictional continent of Xen'drik in the world of Eberron, a Dungeons and Dragons campaign setting. Xen'drik is a vastly unexplored and wild place that was once the center of the advanced giant civilization that was destroyed thousands of years ago. Players can create their characters according to the revised edition of the D&D 3.5 rulebook and play them in both indoor and outdoor settings, including dungeons.
Story
After creating a player character, the player starts the game as a castaway on the coast of Korthos Island. The player character is supported by a group of citizens (Jeets, Cellimas and Talbron) who want to end the Sahuagin's rule on the island of Korthos and send them back to the sea. The dragon Aussircaex plagues the island; a Mindflayer creature controls it with a Mindsunder artifact. Once the player character destroys the Mindsunder artifact, Aussircaex destroys the Mindflayer and allows Korthos Island to return to its old ways, ending the Sahuagin's reign. After gaining fame on Korthos Island, the player is sent to Stormreach to gain fame and eliminate all threats to the city.
