Story

At the creation of Auratia, numerous powerful elemental forces collided and fiercely combined in the darkness, eventually giving birth to the most powerful beings and the symbol of Auratia. Out of total chaos, the dragons were born into this world. However, they were dissatisfied with the barren and desolate world in which they had emerged, and so they decided to use the great powers that each of them possessed to shape this world to their liking. The first race But then came the fateful day when the leader of the High Dragons, Morgath, had used up almost all of his life energy and collapsed on the ground. But before he died, he called two dragons to him: the silver dragon Lysaia and the black dragon Kronos, his closest and most trusted friends. Lysaia bequeathed his wisdom to Morgath, and Kronos his strength, with the wish that they use these gifts for the good of their world. Lysaia, in turn, passed this knowledge on to his fellow dragons, while Kronos filled the earth with his power. In this way, they brought intelligent beings other than dragons to evolve on this world, and thus the first humans were born - the Osira. The Grim Reaper In time, the high dragons reached the end of their life cycle, but not before they were blessed with numerous children. They followed in the footsteps of their great leader Morgath, passing on their knowledge to Lysaia and bequeathing their power to Kronos before leaving this world. Kronos appropriated the power of other dragons by consuming the corpses of his deceased brethren, but each time he did so he suffered excruciating pain that completely exhausted him physically and mentally. However, since this was Morgath's legacy and an honor, he never complained. As time passed and he was entrusted with the cumulative wisdom of his brethren, Lysaia's status rose in the ranks of his fellow dragons, and he became known among them as the Eye of Wisdom. Kronos, on the other hand, was now known as the Reaper: someone to be respected, but from afar. An evil thought One day, Kronos lost consciousness after eating a dragon carcass. When he awoke, he made a startling discovery: because he had slept for so long, he had not released the energy of the dead dragon he had consumed, and the energy had remained in his aged body, causing him to undergo some surprising changes. His coal black wings, which were full of holes, had repaired themselves. His teeth, which had become loose from use and age, had fallen out, and new, sharper teeth had grown in their place. His red eyes, clouded by age, had regained the luster that only the greatest dragons possess. In that moment of realization, thoughts formed in Kronos' mind that would bring great disaster upon the dragon world. The devouring dragon is alive As time passed, Kronos allowed himself to fall into unconsciousness more and more often during death rituals, which began to worry his old friend Lysaia. Kronos kept the energy of more and more dragons he had consumed to himself, which caused his physical form to change extremely. A second and third pair of wings appeared on his back, and a second pair of red eyes appeared on his face. His black scales, once perfectly round, fell off, and in their place grew circular white scales studded with thorns and steel bristles. This terrifying new appearance quickly caused excitement among the other dragons, for Kronos had taken on the appearance of a certain type of dragon that Morgath had warned them all about: he had become a devouring dragon. Locked up Lysaia had no opportunity to confront Kronos about why he had chosen this dark path, for he was soon too busy trying to find a way to stop his old friend from devouring the entire world in a frenzy. The other dragons answered Lysaia's call to arms, and though many dragons lost their lives in battle, they eventually succeeded in defeating Kronos and stripping him of his powers. Turning the essence of their collective will into psychic shackles, they managed to imprison the weakened dragon in Chaugnar, at the southernmost end of Auratia. Trapped and struggling, caught in a cycle of suffering, Kronos howled in pain that he would destroy this world, and used his remaining energy to create a race of creatures completely loyal to him - the Chaos Dragons. The Chaos Dragons, however, lacked intelligence and were unable to free him from his imprisonment. Only after he created them did he realize that he had no more power and could only wait. The Red Flame Millennia passed, and as the dragons who had witnessed the chaos of the Devouring Dragon's time faded, the memories of the war gradually faded into oblivion as well. New generations of dragons came and went, until a dragon favored by the elemental power of fire gained power and influence. B
