Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury

Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury

Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury is the third and final game in the series. It was released in North America on September 14, 2004. The game focuses on the last parts of the Dragon Ball Z series (season 7), namely the battles against Majin Buu. The game added several new elements to the series. First, it added equipment items with which the characters could be equipped to change their stats and get various other benefits. The game also allowed players to assign their own stat points, three of which were given per level. There was also the option to block by holding down the R key, and an energy block by holding down the B key while blocking. The energy block slowly drains the player's energy meter. Both techniques significantly reduce the damage caused by attacks. The game also added various other functions, such as fusions and the possibility of transforming into a Super Saiyan 3. Although many functions were added, the ability to charge attacks by holding and releasing the A button was eliminated. The dialogs used in the English edition of the game are very similar to those of the English-dubbed animated series, and sometimes even identical.
