Disney's DuckTales: The Quest for Gold

Disney's DuckTales: The Quest for Gold

A strategy game to make money. Become MacDuck, the richest duck in the world. Your goal in this game looks simple: Make money. But to achieve that, you'll have to manage your money, invest it well and, of course, search for treasures with your animated friends. Versions: - Amiga/DOS has copy protection in the form of a unique password system. When the game boots up, you'll have to use a key script (which you'll find in the game manual) to translate the symbols on the screen. If you fail to do this, the game will identify you as a Beagle Boy intruder and send the user back to the DOS prompt to try again or shut down the PC on the Amiga version. There is no way to play the game without decrypting the code. At least in the Amiga version of the game, a flying saucer is rarely seen during the flight sequence. The condition that triggers the event is not known. - A version of this game was advertised for the ZX Spectrum, but later discontinued. - Although marketing materials exist for an Apple II port, there is no evidence that this version was ever released or sold.
