Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within

Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within

Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within, known as Clock Tower in Japan: Ghost Head in Japan, is a PlayStation point-and-click survival horror game and the third installment in the Clock Tower series. It was developed by Human Entertainment and released in Japan on March 12, 1998, and later released by Agetec in North America on October 31, 1999. It was released as PlayStation Classic on May 9, 2012 on the Japanese PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3. The game is a spin-off that has little to nothing to do with the Barrows/Burroughs or Scissorman family story, and Hifumi Kono was not involved in it either. It does not take place in Europe, like many of the other games, but in Osaka, Japan. In the North American version, the setting was moved to Salinas, California, and the characters were given Western names. However, untranslated Japanese can be seen at the entrance to the hospital, and even in the intro there are Japanese-style buildings, including a Shinto shrine. The game also includes various Japanese-style rooms and samurai armor.
