Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles and the Microsoft Windows operating system. The game was officially announced on February 11, 2009 and released worldwide on November 10, 2009. It is the sixth installment of the Call of Duty series and the direct successor to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which continues the same storyline, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 concludes it.

Story

Despite the efforts of the U.S. Marine Corps and the British Special Air Service in the previous game, the ultra-nationalists take control of Russia and declare Imran Zakhaev a hero and martyr, erecting a statue of him in the heart of Red Square. This strains diplomatic relations with the United States. Meanwhile, Vladimir Makarov, one of Zakhaev's former lieutenants, begins a campaign of revenge for his death by carrying out five years of terrorist attacks
