Broken Sword: The Angel of Death
Although Broken Sword: The Angel of Death still relies on a full 3D engine with a fixed camera perspective, it returns to its roots by reintroducing point-and-click mouse controls and a new drag-and-drop control mechanism, in addition to keyboard controls. Some puzzles are still action-oriented, but you now have more time to act in stressful situations instead of having to make split-second decisions. Besides the normal puzzles, you'll have to examine images, texts and clues in the central manuscript as the story progresses.
Story
After reluctantly fighting dragons and Mayan gods and becoming a knight of a long-lost holy order, the ignorant hero George Stobbart lives an ordinary office life. Who would have thought that a mysterious and beautiful woman would enter his life, whose sudden disappearance draws him into a desperate search for a nefarious artifact of great and terrible power?
