Blood Bowl

Blood Bowl is a combination of a tactics and a sports game. The basics are extremely simple: two teams, one ball. The team that carries the ball into the opponent's end zone scores a touchdown. The team that scores the most touchdowns at the end of the game is the winner. But it's the way you do it that makes it interesting: the end justifies the means! It's not just the players you have at your disposal, either. You can bribe the referee to look the other way while you cripple or trample pesky opponents, and hire illegal wizards to help you right out of the crowd.... Blood Bowl puts the strategies of the best tacticians to the test. There are many races to suit every player profile (23 in Chaos Edition, 20 in Legendary Edition, 9 in Standard Edition) and even more strategies to experiment with. To win a game, you need a strong sense of play and a lot of self-control. For the players' pleasure, the omnipresent humor and the use of spells, weapons and other unregulated actions make Blood Bowl fall out of the classic sports simulation genre.
