Bleak Faith: Forsaken

Bleak Faith: Forsaken

A third-person open-world survival horror action RPG in a universe you've never experienced before. Play as one of the Forsaken, the last frontier of humanity against the growing horrors of the Omnistructure. Stranded on a distant outpost, you must adapt to survive. But the world is not waiting for you, you must venture into the unknown - your faith will decide your fate. Feel the burden of survival in one of the last outposts of the Forsaken, a legion of hunters doomed to protect the last remnant of humanity. The nature of your task is shrouded in mystery, however, and the deeper you delve into the diverse halls of the Omnistructure, the more you will learn the true meaning of alienation, isolation, and fear. Bleak Faith is a mix of cyberpunk and dark fantasy, and offers a story and an experience that will be a breath of fresh air for all players looking for something new. The world is full of history, and every aspect is designed with the utmost passion and dedication to the art. As a basis, there are an estimated 30+ hours of content, a deep class system and a procedural AI system that ensures that no two playthroughs are alike. The architecture of the world, the Omnistructure, is an important aspect of the game. With its careful design and elaboration, Bleak Faith aims to combine an emergent narrative with structured traditional moments. The world of Bleak Faith is labyrinthine, tapping into the innate curiosity instinct we all have when confronted with many defined branching paths - we focus on creating a strong sense of curiosity about the path not taken by providing unique and engaging content in each area of the world - with the world featuring both huge open areas and a more linear Metroidvania-style openness. The goal is to evoke the same sense of wonder and excitement you felt the first time you played a game, the first time you experienced 3D graphics, the first time you experienced something that felt formative and not something you had to get used to. The open world in Bleak Faith is an important aspect to show you the reality of the Forsaken. In this world, there are few places of refuge for the Forsaken, and these are usually outposts that serve as bases (of varying complexity and usefulness) to recover from journeys and prepare for more - but nowhere is truly safe! Expect tight and carefully crafted and expanded combat that brings pace and action to this world in amazing quality and detail. We don't back down from any challenge and give it our all. Although we are only a small team, we couldn't settle for a simple, mundane combat system; we made it polished and very robust. Combat conveys danger in an adrenaline-fueled way. Fast, responsive, and merciless - you'll earn every victory and feel nothing is easy. You can approach combat in your own way - choose stealth over face-to-face combat, ranged over melee, technomancy over traditional fighting styles. The system allows you to express yourself in combat or avoid it - and this is also supported by a class system. What better way to experience the unyielding uncertainty of the Omnistructure than through a simulated ecosystem of factions and AI groups. The inhabitants of the Omnistructure compete with each other, grow and expand, change and adapt - so the food chain in the ecosystem adjusts in each run (e.g., an apex predator from your last run may be extinct by this run and you never fight it again). It's a constant race against time, as enemies try to outflank not only you, but the other competitors as well. Hunt, loot and grow to stay at the top of the food chain. You'll never experience an area in the same way, since the procedural nature of the ecosystem ensures that you can never be careless. However, there are still linear areas in the game, especially those that cover the main plot points, to give the player a direction and a goal. The ecosystem makes every moment of the game interesting and captivating - even with multiple playthroughs. Fight against all odds and stay alive despite the ever-increasing threat of the Omnistructure. Craft, scavenge, hunt and find ways to improve yourself. Choose a class, improve your stats, upgrade your character, craft equipment and stay healthy. Resist the doll plague and the many diseases in the world that can completely change the outcome of your journey. Use stealth and your environment to your advantage - fighting isn't always the best course of action, and when it is, it's a necessary tactic to prepare the field to change the odds in your favor.
