Black Bass: Lure Fishing

In contrast to the Super NES video game Super Black Bass, there are only two lakes for fishing and a limited number of lures. You cast from a bird's eye view with an indicator for the direction and another indicator for the shadow of the fish. Trout, pike, catfish and the infamous black bass can be caught in this game. In the Game Boy Color version, players can compete against 99 AI-controlled anglers. The tournaments last twelve hours in non-real time and all locations are fictitious. Each game originally came with a 40-page instruction manual and a caution booklet. In both versions of the game, players are notified by text message when they have lost their bait and/or fish. If a player runs out of a particular type of fishing lure, they cannot retrieve it until the next game.
