Konami presents the only NASCAR-backed stock car simulation that turns your drive into a pit stop in the most authentic racing environment available. Co-developed by Winston Cup Champion Bill Elliott and Distinctive Software - the creators of Test Drive and The Duel - you can put your guts and milliseconds to the test on the banked ovals of six official, perfectly scaled NASCAR tracks including Daytona, Talladega, Bristol, Darlington, Michigan and Atlanta. Or on the two winding street circuits of Sears Point or Watkins Glen. All with bitmap graphics and a scaling technique that makes the graphics so detailed that you can read the make of the car as you drive bumper to bumper. On-screen statistics show you the track length, maximum banking and total number of laps in each race. With this important data, you can adapt your car to the track by adjusting the gear ratio, transmission, spoiler angle and tire offset. Depending on whether you are racing or qualifying for pole position, you will also need to decide which type of engine to use. But set up your car carefully. An incorrect setting could send you into the wall. If you think you have what it takes, you can compete with NASCAR's best drivers - including Bill Elliott himself - in one-off races or fight for the Cup in the Championship Season.
