Anno 1602: Creation of a New World

The year is 1602 and you are in command of a sailing ship that traverses the waters of the unknown island world of Anker. On board your ship you have no more than a handful of loyal followers and a limited supply of food and building materials. You are here to start a new life. Your future is already sealed when you choose the island you want to colonize, because each island has its own peculiarities. Your goal is to create a whole new world. Explore, build, settle, trade and defend - that's the challenge ahead of you! Anno 1602 takes you into the world of building strategy games. Build a realistic, living world according to your own ideas; your chosen strategy decides the development and fate of your towns and villages. Prove your diplomatic skills in dealing with natives, your comrades and also with pirates. First build farms, plantations and small workshops to produce, then use your business sense and start trading with your fellow players. But watch out, because with wealth and prosperity comes envy and trouble! Train soldiers and build defenses to protect your property and wealth.
