A Light in the Dark
A Light in the Dark is a new suspenseful visual novel for the PC. It is a collaboration between CreSpirit, the developers of Rabi-Ribi, and the duo Storia and Narrator, who specialize in visual novels and RPGs. After working with CreSpirit on Rabi-Ribi and with Narrator on Companion, Sekai Project teams up with this dream team of developers to bring their new game project to the West!
Story
"──We cannot choose in this unjust world. Hao-Chen Jiang didn't understand what it was when he opened his eyes. In front of him was a dim and dreary room that he had never seen before. When he tried to get up to turn on the light, he found that his arms were tied behind his back, and at that moment he realized that he had been kidnapped. At that moment, a mysterious girl appears in front of him and tells him with a scornful look that he has been kidnapped and has no chance to escape unless his family pays a ransom. But maybe there is more to it than money... The rich boy stuck in his never-changing daily routine.... The struggling girl fighting for survival.... Two people in completely opposite positions in life. In the days of their imprisonment, they learn about a world they were never aware of and which will crumble their deep-rooted prejudices. What will they find in the face of confusion and choices that lie ahead...?
